I have learned from searching many adoptions stories that those involved have had the chance to “tell their story” which has been a big part of their healing process. This has happened for adoptees, birth parents as well as adopted parents. I have seen birth mother’s finally feel a peace telling their whole story and adoptees as well feeling a peace from hearing the truth. Forgiveness plays a huge role in adoption.
