People really need to think before they speak. Do not act like you know how another’s shoes feel if you have never worn them! I am adopted. I know my adopted parents made a selfless act of adopting me. I call my adopted mom an angel but that does not take away the feelings of loss and rejection. Adoptees still have natural feelings. We still have unanswered questions. We still have other family. we still get certain things through genetics that we long to understand. Be kind. Do not assume. It sickens me that an adopted mom made those remarks! She should know already that this is natural!-Elizabeth
